Chipper and slitter knives, Athena Banquet

Today I loaded 1900 pounds of chipper knives onto the Milan Express semi with the Bobcat. Next time I do this order, I'll be using my new Pallet stacker fork lift.

I met Joe Williamson from Ohio Packaging/CorrChoice in Massillon, Ohio for lunch. He gave me 50 corrugator slitter knives to cryogenically treat. He used to change his Zenith Slitter blades every 21-28 days. After the cryo treatment, he changes them every 43 days.

Rita Shisler, one of my dearest friends and owner of Shisler Cheese, and I went to the Athena Banquet in N. Royalton. The Athena award recognizes the efforts and success of business women. It honors those who have helped women reach their full leadership potential; demonstrate creativity and initiative in their profession; and improve the quality of life for others in the community. There were 12 finalists and 3 recipients.

Electric Pallet Stacker

It's been an exciting day! We purchased an electric pallet stacker. It will make life so much easier when semi trucks come to deliver and pick up. For the past 2 years we've been using the neighbor's Bobcat with a bucket. It will arrive September 11th.

We finalized the layout of our new Sawmill & Logging brochure. It's looks awesome!
